Launchpads AI processes your personal data because you use our website and/or because you have provided this data to us yourself — for example by subscribing to our newsletter or scheduling a call. Below is an overview of the personal data we process:

• First and last name
• Email address
• Other personal data you actively provide, for example in correspondence, by phone, or during a scheduled call
• Location data (based on IP address, for website analytics purposes)
• Data about your activity on our website
• Internet browser and device type

Our website does not intend to collect data about website visitors under the age of 16, unless they have consent from a parent or guardian. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is over 16. We therefore encourage parents to be involved in their children's online activities to prevent data about children from being collected without parental consent. If you believe we have collected personal data about a minor without such consent, please contact us at privacylaunchpads@gmail.com and we will delete this information.

Launchpads AI processes your personal data for the following purposes:

• Sending our newsletter when you have signed up for it (legal basis: consent).
• Scheduling and conducting introductory or advisory calls when you book an appointment through our website (legal basis: performance of the agreement at your request).
• Answering questions you send by email or phone (legal basis: legitimate interest).
• Analysing visits to our website to improve its function and content (legal basis: legitimate interest).

Launchpads AI does not make decisions about individuals based on automated processing that could have significant consequences for them.

Launchpads AI does not retain your personal data longer than strictly necessary to fulfil the purposes for which your data is collected. Specifically, we apply the following guidelines:

• Newsletter subscribers: for as long as you remain subscribed. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link at the bottom of every newsletter.
• Call bookings: up to a maximum of 12 months after the call, for follow-up and relationship management purposes.
• Correspondence: up to a maximum of 24 months, unless we are legally required to retain it longer.

Launchpads AI does not sell your data to third parties and will only share it where necessary for the performance of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. With companies that process your data on our behalf, we enter into a data processing agreement to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data.

We use the following processors:

• Substack — for managing our newsletter subscribers and sending the newsletter.
• Calendly — for scheduling introductory and advisory calls.
• Microsoft Outlook and Zoom — for confirming and conducting scheduled calls.

Some of these parties are located outside the European Economic Area (EEA), including the United States. When personal data is transferred to countries outside the EEA, we ensure this is done on the basis of appropriate safeguards, such as the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission.

Launchpads AI uses only functional and analytical cookies. A cookie is a small text file stored in your browser when you first visit this website.

• Functional cookies ensure the website works properly and remembers your preferences.
• Analytical cookies give us insight into how the website is used so we can improve it. These cookies have no or only a minor impact on your privacy.

We do not use tracking cookies and do not place advertisements based on your browsing behaviour.

You can disable cookies by configuring your internet browser to no longer store cookies. You can also delete any information previously stored via your browser settings.

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw any consent given for data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by Launchpads AI, and you have the right to data portability. This means you can submit a request for us to send the personal data we hold about you to you or another organisation you specify in a machine-readable file.

You can submit a request for access, correction, deletion, data portability, withdrawal of consent, or an objection to processing to privacylaunchpads@gmail.com.

To verify that the access request has been made by you, we ask you to include a copy of your identity document with your request. Please black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone), passport number and citizen service number (BSN) in this copy to protect your privacy. We will respond as quickly as possible, and within four weeks, to your request.

Launchpads AI also wishes to inform you that you have the right to file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens), via: autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl

Launchpads AI takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised modification.
